The base comes in painted metal with seating plane in plywood covered with velfodera. Back and armrest cushions’ panels are in plywood covered with velfodera.\u00a0The seat cushions are available in a feather version or foam version. The Feather Version is padded with washed and sterilized goose down divided into sections clothed with 100% white cotton fabric and with variable-density polyurethane foam core.\u00a0 The Foam version is padded with variable-density polyurethane foam\u00a0covered with fine velvet coupled with dacron.\u00a0The back and roll cushions are padded with washed and sterilized goose down and 100% polyester fiber divided into sections. \nSaba was established in 1988. Saba has worked ever since in the pursuit of relaxing design concepts. The concept, as well as the selection of materials, workmanship and manufacture, are all guided by the desire to experiment without overstepping into excess, supported by constant attention to quality and ergonomics. Saba believes that design products should not only be technically excellent, but also respond to real consumer needs, as well as offering aesthetics to stir the emotions.<\/p>\n
\nBorn in 1953, Sergio Bicego left formal education and began, almost by chance, his experience in the field of the padded furniture. Fascinated by the world that surrounded him, he eagerly devoted himself to researching building forms and techniques which have borne fruit for the companies in which he worked. In 1991 he opened his studio as an independent designer and in 1993 he came across Saba Italia. New challenges and new incentives lead to the creation of the \u201cnomad sofa\u201d: Taos, Ananta, Limes, Nesting, Pixel.
