The Artis Sofa by the luxury Italian furniture maison Ditre Italia is a masterfully balanced, highly architectural expression of modern European refinement and quiet luxury. Artfully conceived by the design duo Stefano Spessotto and Lorella Agnoletto, Artis is a celebration of tailored versatility, engineered to feel both freshly contemporary and reassuringly familiar. Crafted with meticulous bench-made precision in Treviso, Italy, this sofa acts as an elegant, low-slung landscape that floats effortlessly above the ground, making it a natural centerpiece for upscale homes.

The defining hallmark of Artis is the elegant, subtle taper of its armrests. Instead of a standard vertical block, the armrest possesses a clean, sculptural facet that angles inward slightly, giving the profile a distinctively sharp, design-forward edge. Emphasizing its authentic Italian heritage, the sofa features an optional, hand-crafted Comb Stitching (over-edge detail) along the primary parameters. Homeowners can specify this detailing in a bold contrasting thread color to emphasize the sofa's geometry, or tone-on-tone for a sleek, whisper-quiet look. Rather than sitting heavy and blocky against the room line, Artis is elevated on ultra-slender, 4 3/4" structural metal feet. This high clearance creates an immediate floating illusion, allowing natural light to pass completely uninterrupted beneath the sofa, making the room feel remarkably airy. 

The load-bearing core is constructed from a heavy-duty matrix of solid spruce timber blocks, class E1 multi-layered plywood, and hardwood panels. The entire frame is heavily wrapped in a plush layer of protective Tecnoform lining. The absolute comfort of Artis stems from its premium cushioning. The deep seat pads are packed with high-resilience, non-deformable polyurethane foam (density 35 kg/m³) wrapped entirely in a thick, channeled duvet of genuine goose down. The backrest cushions are similarly filled with a plush feather blend, delivering an immediate "sink-in" physical hug that perfectly retains its architectural rebound. Designed with long-term residential longevity in mind, the fabric iterations of Artis feature a 100% fully removable cover architecture for easy care.
