The defining characteristic of the Avalon collection is its fluid, semi-circular geometry and dynamic backrest silhouette. Instead of rigid 90-degree angles, the Avalon is built upon gracefully curved, crescent-like modules. The Avalon collection provides a premium cushioning for the seat and back. It is constructed from multi-density/IFD (Indentation Force Deflection) polyurethane foam wrapped in polyester fiber. This provides a clean, tailored look with a supportive, resilient seat rather than a messy "sinking" feel. THe legs can be ordered in standard finishes, such as Brushed Nickel (featuring a protective plastic glide). Premium metallic finishes (available for a slight upcharge) include Titanium, Sandstone, Lunar Silver and Bronze. The internal frame is built from industrial-grade select hardwood and plywood, supported by heavy-duty 3" unidirectional webbing.
