The Napoleon Keramik dining table (designed by Paolo Cattelan for Cattelan Italia) represents a major technological breakthrough for the brand. It marks a historic "before and after" in Italian furniture production by introducing curved ceramic slabs to a collection that previously relied on flat, rigid panels 

The standout feature of Napoleon is its central pedestal base. Utilizing a cutting-edge, patent-protected ceramic modeling technique, Cattelan Italia successfully sculpted marbled ceramic into graceful, sinuous curves with rounded edges. The central base is formed by two perfectly symmetrical, curved ceramic hulls that meet in the middle. On the short sides of the base plinth, a deliberate, recessed vertical groove breaks up the stone pattern. This architectural gap adds a layer of depth and shadow to the otherwise seamless, uniform column.

Because both the tabletop and the massive central base are wrapped in identical matching ceramic, the table appears as though it was chiseled from a single, continuous block of rare natural marble. The seamless continuity between top and base enhances the table’s solid, contemporary aesthetic, transforming it into functional art.
