The Venus Dining Table by the elite Italian design house Gamma Arredamenti (a magnificent anchor of their fashion-forward Dandy Collection) is an architectural sculpture that completely redefines the modern dining room centerpiece. Conceived by the visionary designer Gabriele Ghetti, the Venus turns gravity into art, moving entirely away from conventional, static table legs to introduce a fluid, dynamic structural base that channels breezy European elegance.
While a custom commission from Gamma's Italian workshop typically commands a grueling 16-to-20-week production wait, the Gamma Quickship Program cuts that timeline down drastically. The pre-configured Venus table is fully stocked in their most highly coveted, universally stunning material layout, arriving at your home in a matter of weeks.
The defining visual signature of the Venus table is its mesmerizing, structural pedestal base, which exhibits an extraordinary interplay of opposing angles and luxury textures. The base consists of heavy, architectural wooden pylons that twist in an elegant crossover pattern, creating a harmonious contrapposto effect. This grand, rounded silhouette is entirely wrapped by hand in Gamma's elite full-grain Piuma Leather (in the globally coveted E537 Dove Grey/Taupe). Piuma is an ultra-premium, full-grain aniline hide celebrated for its incredibly buttery, matte texture.
Revealing a stunning hidden depth, the interior vertical planes exposed by the crossover design are finished in an opulent Polished Brass. The base is grounded by a matching brass floor rim, offering a breathtaking, high-contrast contrast of soft, organic taupe leather and metallic warmth. Rather than utilizing sharp, hard-angled rectangles, the tabletop is sculpted into an elegant, soft barrel shape. The gently bowed edges maximize interaction, guiding conversation sightlines naturally toward the center of the table.
The barrel surface is crafted from a spectacular, high-gloss Italian ceramic that mirrors the complex, organic veining of natural marble, complete with rich white and gold patterning. Unlike real marble—which is highly porous and famously prone to scratching, staining from red wine, or etching from citrus juices—this premium ceramic is practically indestructible. It is entirely non-porous, highly scratch-resistant, UV-fade resistant, and immune to heat. You can place piping hot serving dishes directly onto the glossy surface without needing placemats or trivets.
To perfectly accommodate varying architectural spaces while remaining on an accelerated delivery path, the Venus Quickship table is stocked in two grand, accommodating sizes: The 8-Foot Variant: 94.5" W x 47.25" D x 29.5" H (Comfortably hosts 8 to 10 guests with plenty of room). The 10-Foot Variant: 118" W x 47.25" D x 29.5" H (Easily accommodates up to 10 to 12 guests for grand family events).
